Winter Storm Neptune

The Northeast was hit with yet another winter storm The Weather Channel calls Neptune. More snow helped give Boston its snowiest month on record now. Winter Storm Neptune was so treacherous it caused pile-ups in several states. In Erie, Pennsylvania a pile-up of over 100 vehicles was reported with approximately 30 of the vehicles in actual accidents or spin outs.

Jim Cantore got real excited at the Thunder Snow as you can see in the video below – and who could blame him.

Extreme low temperatures were also reported like 8 degrees below zero on February 15th in Detroit, Michigan. International Falls, Minnesota reported 28 degrees below zero on February 12th. Some amazing snow totals from Winter Storm Neptune are in the mix below.
